I'm Isha, a brand designer and creative strategist based in Mumbai. I've been making things since before I knew it was a skill, messing around with Microsoft Paint as a kid, making cards for every occasion I could think of. Visuals have a powerful way of making you feel things that words can't always say. That instinct never left, just bigger now. I want people to feel why a brand exists, not just see it.
My journey in design started with a degree in Visual Communication Design, then a few years working across a small creative agency and Fynd, on everything from lifestyle to fintech to e-commerce. Now at Pineapple Design, I lead creative direction on projects for tech companies in healthcare, fintech, and AI, the kind of work where the product is the hardest thing to explain, and the design has to do it anyway.
The tension I keep coming back to is consistency versus flexibility. A brand system that's too rigid breaks the moment it meets the real world. One that's too loose stops being a brand. Most systems solve for one and sacrifice the other. I've been thinking about whether AI can automate brand systems so they evolve without losing their purpose.
Outside work I'm at the gym, planning trips, and listening to everything from hard techno to Bollywood depending on the mood. My ginger cat has very strong opinions about my work hours.
